چکیده

With the aid of spectral gradient method Fuchssteiner, compatible pair Hamiltonian operators for coupled NLS hierarchy is rediscovered. This result enables us to construct a hierarchy, which contains vector generalization Fokas-Lenells system. The system shown be bi-Hamiltonian and possess Lax pair.

The coupled modified nonlinear Schrödinger equations on the half - line via the Fokas method ∗

Coupled modified nonlinear Schrödinger(CMNLS) equations describe the pulse propagation in the picosecond or femtosecond regime of the birefringent optical fibers. In this paper, we use the Fokas method to analyze the initialboundary value problem for the CMNLS equations on the half-line. Assume that the solution u(x, t) and v(x, t) of CMNLS equations are exists, and we show that it can be expre...

A new integrable system of symmetrically coupled derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations via the singularity analysis

A new integrable system of two symmetrically coupled derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations is detected by means of the singularity analysis. A nonlinear transformation is proposed which uncouples the equations of the new system. In this paper, we study the integrability of the following system of two symmetrically coupled derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations: qt = iqxx + aqq̄qx + bq q̄...

Soliton dynamics in linearly coupled discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations

We study soliton dynamics in a system of two linearly coupled discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations, which describe the dynamics of a two-component Bose gas, coupled by an electromagnetic field, and confined in a strong optical lattice. When the nonlinear coupling strengths are equal, we use a unitary transformation to remove the linear coupling terms, and show that the existing soliton solu...

Rogue waves for a system of coupled derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations.

Rogue waves (RWs) are unexpectedly strong excitations emerging from an otherwise tranquil background. The nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE), a ubiquitous model with wide applications to fluid mechanics, optics, plasmas, etc., exhibits RWs only in the regime of modulation instability (MI) of the background. For a system of multiple waveguides, the governing coupled NLSEs can produce regimes ...
